The Yagi is best used for fixed locations such as homes, offices, warehouses, farms and remote locations trying to reach faraway cell sites in a particular direction.
They should be mounted as high as possible on tubing or pipe.
With the appropriate adapter cable (not included), this antenna is compatible with USB cellular modems and MiFi Hotspots, external 3G/4G cellular modems and routers from companies such as Cisco, Cradlepoint, MoFi, Digi, Pepwave, Ebeestock, and Sierra Wireless.
It is also compatible with most signal booster/amplifiers.
Note:
- The yagi directional antenna will need to be pointed in the direction of the nearest cell tower. For best results, consider installations that make the cable as short as possible yet placing the Yagi where it gets the best signal.
- When using multiple yagis, they should ideally be mounted at least 10 ft apart and not pointed at each other to prevent any interference. Then use a signal splitter to combine the two antennas into one cable that can be attached to the amplifier.
- The yellowing of the outer skin of this Yagi antenna cable is caused by sunlight, but it does not affect the use.
